Presumably you've arrived here because you know one or more of the team members, so you will be fully aware that walking is not something that we do very frequently...and not very well in Martin's case :-)

We have formed a team to take part in the Maggie's London Night Hike 2009, which involves a 20-mile walk across London on 18 September 2009. That's nearly a marathon!

So why are we doing this?

We want to see Sam's high-heeled trainers in action

It will replace a whole month's exercise in one fell-swoop

We want to bore Martin senseless with talk of shoes and handbags for the duration (which we've worked out will be c. 9 hours)

But above and beyond all of that, Maggie's is a great Charity, helping people with Cancer and their families so we want to help them continue to offer this support.
