Karen Sinden, the MD of Marketform goes head to head with her good (and probably as unfit) friend Karen Graves, MD of Creechurch on 6th July at in the British 10k London run in a race to be the fastest female Managing Director of a Managing Agent!

The two charities benefiting from the 2 K's efforts are Coram, which helps kids from very troubled families and Farm Africa, which supports basic food production projects in the continent. Our Karen is running in aid of Coram as a part of the month long Lloyd’s Charity Challenge(http://www.lloyds.com/About_Us/Corporate_responsibility/Charity/Lloyds_charity_challenge/).

Here’s what she had to say:

 Reasons why I shouldn't be doing this:

- I don't do gyms

- I sit in a golf cart rather than carry

- I only have 4 weeks to prepare (and 2 of those are on holiday!)

- I will find it hard to avoid food and beer

- The only other sponsorship I have ever undertaken was to be a member of Lloyds!

- I am too frightened to run this on my own!

 So please sponsor me to finish (the time limit is 2 hours) and I will attempt to run the whole way (but no guarantees I’m afraid). Thanks for all your help – training tips welcome!!
