Cancer Research Wales is the only totally independent National Cancer Research Charity for Wales. Founded in 1966 with the philosophy that - ALL money raised in Wales is spent in Wales supporting scientists and PhD students working across the Principality. We donate approximately 90p in every £1.00 to cancer research.

Alison and Angela are aiming to raise 40k for Cancer Research Wales. 1k for every year it has been set up -it's now in its 40th year. 

2ofUs will be organising various Events and Challenges, so that you can join in and support Cancer Research Wales.  Please help us reach our target by donating at this site and by supporting the events below.

Sponsored Trek in Peru - September  2007

Done it.

Angela and Alison trekked and camped the ancient  Inca Trail, suffered altitude sickness at heights of 4500m and freezing temperatures to climb the snow-capped Andean mountains and finally reached Machu Picchu. 

2ofUs Charity Ball  November 3rd 2007, Holland House Hotel, Cardiff

Charity ball and auction with TV and Radio celebrity Jamie Owen and other Welsh personalities.  Dance the night away to Big Mac's Wholly Soul Band. Tables seat 10 and tickets are £50 each available from Liz Edwards, Cancer Research Wales, Velindre Hospital, Whitchurch, Cardiff CF14 2TL. Please make cheques payable to Cancer Research Wales, marking the back with 2ofUS Charity Ball and your address.

Taff Triath

Alison will organise the first ever Taff Triath.  She will cycle, run and row 40km along The River Taff.  Watch this space for the date - it could be Boxing Day - her birthday! Sponsor her on this site or at 40Power.
