Cancer Research Wales is the only totally independent National Cancer Research Charity for Wales. Founded in 1966 with the philosophy that - ALL money raised in Wales is spent in Wales supporting scientists and PhD students working across the Principality. We donate approximately 90p in every £1.00 to cancer research.

Thank you for visiting the 40Power fundraising page - for all those celebrating 40 this year . . . or in your 40's!

2ofUs is attempting to raise £1000 for every year Cancer Research Wales has been established - that's 40 years - so that's 40K. 

There are over forty thousand people celebrating their 40th birthday in Wales this year( including me!).  If everyone of us reaching that 'special birthday'  donated just a small amount to celebrate our life - Cancer Research Wales would soon receive £40,000 to help others reach their 'special birthdays' . Go on, if you're 40 this year . . .  or in your 40's please donate and leave a message - then pass this site onto anyone else you know is celebrating 40 this year or in their forties . . .  or just who would like to help!

News Update:  Bernard ( 65 year old) HAS COMPLETED  the 190 miles Coast to Coast Walk , climbing at least six peaks up to 2500ft  and gaining severely blistered feet!    He has raised £420 for Cancer Research Wales. Thank you to everyone who donated.

News Update: Alison completed five highest peaks in Brecon in six hours and across Wales Walk in 9 hours . .  and has climbed Wales' 15 highest peaks.
