In recent months,some challenge members have suffered bereavement in their family due to cancer. This is something we can do to raise money to help one of the leading charities dedicated to beating cancer through research.

The 3 Peaks Challenge is designed to be a race that tests your stamina and endurance.

You are expected to climb the three biggest mountains of England (Scafell Pike), Wales (Snowdon) and Scotland (Ben Nevis) and travel between them all within 24hrs.

We intend to drive up on Friday night afternoon to Ben Nevis. We would expect to be there for around midnight, aiming to start the challenge and walking around 5am on Saturday at the base of Ben Nevis? When we get down 5hrs later we then head to Scafell Pike to walk it mid/late afternoon, (stopping briefly for food on the way). Once Scafell is completed we will then drive through the night to get to Snowdon and walk it early Sunday morning finishing in the car park at the bottom of Snowdon before 5am - inside of 24hrs!!!
