<p>On 17th /18th 2011 September seven teams of South Walian well intentioned trekkers are dubbing up their walking boots to attempt the 3 peaks challenge Ben Nevis Scafell and Snowdon in 24hours.</p>
<p>Teams include Gwent doctors, teachers from Headlands Penarth, Cyncoed Pharmacy, NWIS, and 3 teams of medical students we are aiming to raise money for The Southern Ethiopia Gwent Link (SEGL)</p>
<p> SEGL is a small charity led by healthcare professionals in Gwent Each year we visit a rural deprived area of Ethiopia delivering education and resources to empower the health workers to improve the lives of the local people.The charity delivers 100% of all money raised there are no admin costs.The volunteers have identified that <strong>Motorbike Ambulances</strong> are saving the lives particularly of pregnant mothers and their babies by transporting them to places where they can access care.</p>
<p>The cost of an ambulance is approximately £10,000, your donation, however small, will help to save lives Thank you</p>
