Story
On 2nd/3rd July we did the Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for Arthritis Research UK (formerly Arthritis Research Campaign). We climbed the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales - Ben Nevis 1344m, Scafell Pike 978m and Snowdon 1085m - in 26 hours. Only 26 miles walking, with a total 3 km ascent and 500 miles of driving between mountains... not bad at all!!
We weren't lucky with the weather though - Ben Nevis had lashing rain and winds up to 65mph while Scafell Pike was shrouded in cloud, but Snowdon was sunny and clear, with amazing views. The team were awesome, with broad smiles and lots and lots of fun. Thanks a million to all of you, can't wait for our next challenge!
