As some of you will be aware, we attempted a 3 person channel relay on 28th / 29th September.  Unfortunately we had to abort as one of our team members was ill.

However we have a substitution and the 3 birds will fly again.  This time with a substitution - Jim Boucher will be joining the team.  As this is a re-swim, the team name will have to remain the same, so Jim is going to be a 'bird' for the day and swim under his alter ego of Jemima!!  If you want updates on how we're getting on, please feel free to make contact.  There is an email link on my website www.emma2france.com. 

We're hoping to start at 4am on Thursday 9th October and will swim for as long as it takes to make French soil.

I was also recently involved in the 2Swim4Life event www.justgiving.com/2swim4life and had the enjoyment of watching Stewart getting his chest waxed.  I have also got video evidence that I am prepared to release should we raise enough money on this site.  I apologise for the quality of the images at some point - there is a bit of camera shake due to uncontrollable laughter!!
