Dear All

Earlier this year, the beautiful 28 year-old blonde bombshell that is Mel Thomas was diagnosed with an exceedingly rare form of cancer called Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma (Only 20 people a year are afflicted by this cancer  in the UK).  Not only is Mel battling hard against her condition physically, but also in the most amazingly upbeat and inspiring way.  The cancer doesn't stand a chance!!! She continues to defy all the expert opinions with her progress and her positive attitude. Her plight has touched all that know her, as she is such a positive character and wonderful friend.

With this in mind, we have decided to raise some  (actually, hopefully lots!) of cash for the  Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign who are helping to treat Mel.  So next Sunday (September 16^th) we'll be doing the New Forest HalfMarathon. ‘Big deal,’ you may say, ‘they've done a half marathon before. Is that the best they can do?’ Well, we’ve decided to run it three-legged, which should add both some complexity and certainly a lot of hilarity ... but hopefully not divoarce!  The practises up and down our lounge have not been that encouraging!
