Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit our fund raising page.
YES WE DID IT IN - 23Hrs 40Mins ! with all the love and support from family and friends !
Our Challenge is to walk the three highest peaks in Britain in the following order, Scotland (Ben Nevis) England (Scafell Pike) and Wales (Mount Snowdon) in 24 hours to raise as much money as we can to this deserving Charity. Even though the group considers this a challenge of determination, stamina and blisters this falls short of the challenges faced by people and their families who have been affected by Meningitis.
In the build up to this charity event we have completed a number of training walks in the Derbyshire peaks testing our abilities of map reading and the ultimate test of walking with hangovers from the night before, so far so good!!!
Knowing the signs and symptoms of meningitis is essential to saving lives and reducing the affect of this potentially devastating disease.
Your kind donation will make a difference to help raise Awareness and Education to saving lives and supporting people to move forward with their lives.
As described by one doctor “Meningitis is a disease that holds NO prejudice against age or health”
Please donate anything you can afford, your support will make a difference!
THIS CHARITY EVENT IS ALSO COLLECTING FOR The Down Syndrome Educational Trust

All costs involved for this event are being met by the group themselves.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Meningitis Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Many thanks for your support from Nottingham 3 Peaks Challenge 2008.
