Story

In 2011 I ran four marathons in four days for the Korean Multiple Sclerosis society (I was living and working out there as a teacher.)

In 2012 I was part of the inaugural Red Heart Run which was set up in memory of Alex Watley who sadly passed away from cardiac complications in December of 2011. Despite my not knowing him personally I had mutual friends and had attended sixth form with him.

Alex was only 23 when he passed, his passion and commitment for sport being something that his friends and myself could honour his memory by.

In July 2013 I decided that I wanted to do more; I ran another 4in4 but this time on the punishing South Downs Way. It was particularly hot and difficult, but I pulled through thanks to some great support (and my Dad chaperoning me on his mountain bike.)

This year I think I want to push the boat out and attempt 5 in 5. I'm not sure if I can do it, but I aim to push myself and hopefully make enough people feel sorry for me that they will give again to what I believe is a wonderful cause.

Please give whatever you can afford, and leave me a good luck message on here.

If you can come to cheer me on from the pub terraces of Winchester I'd also be grateful.
