As some of you may know this is now our annual charity event where we take part in the Scumrun rally through Europe in aid of worthy children's charities. This year we are very proud to be raising money for CLIC Sargent.

Every day 10 families are told their child has cancer. As the UK's leading children's cancer charity, CLIC Sargent is the only organisation to offer them all round care and support. Caring for children and young people with cancer through:  Nurses, Social Workers, Play Therapists, Home from Home, Research, Holidays, Financial support and advice.

Scumrun takes place over the weekend of the 17th April and is a blind rally for cars £500 or less. The Route is kept secret until the morning of each day, in previous years we have travelled through France, Germany, Italy, Spain and everywhere between! Pete and I are veterans of the event having taken part in every event bar one, Hazel is on her third and Ian is the virgin of the team with 2010 being his first.

Last year's NYC Cab is back! After conquering The Pyrenees on her way to Barcelona and only drinking just less than us! She has the leak patched, a new set of suspension dampers fitted and is ready for the next adventure! Not bad for a 12 year old Vauxhall Omega that cost £375!!
