To kickstart KOP this year a group of 50 people are embarking on a cycle of epic proportions, from Nairobi to Kisumu, a total of 435KM along the old colonial route across the rift valley to lake Victoria.

To show our support Manchester KOP, and other KOP groups in the UK are taking part in our own sponsored bike ride, 'A KOPing long way' - the first National KOP fundraiser. It will involve a relay team of 6 KOPers on 2 exercise bikes and between us we will cover the 435KM in just 12 hours. So if you've got a spare couple of pounds then please sponsor us!
