The Asset Management girls would like to thank you for taking the time to look at our fund raising page. Byte Night is taking place on Friday 2 October and we are set to sleep rough for the night. Yes, that's right..the Asset Management girls will be ditching their creature comforts for a night in support of the fantastic charity "Action for Children".
If you have already clicked on this page you're halfway there to helping us achieve & surpass our group target of £5000!
*****Please note that any amount of money is greatly appreciated but anyone who digs deep and sponsors us £250 or more will automatically be entered into an exciting free prize draw*****
The draw itself will take place in the Ernst & Young offices on Monday 5th October 2009 and the (extremely) lucky winner will win ...
A night out in London town with the Asset Management girls!!!
Click 'Read more' for more information.
The evening will commence in one of our favourite drinking establishments in the London Bridge area, and we will then take you around all our favourite haunts. You never know, you may even be lucky enough to end up in one of the well known city late night bars/clubs for a spot of dancing!
What is Byte Night?
With so many terrible events taking place around the world, we sometimes forget those closer to home who are in need of our help. Byte night was established 11 years ago when 30 individuals from the IT industry slept out and raised £35,000. Since then the event has grown to 500 sleepers raising almost £470,000 in 2008 alone. Each year, over 500 people from the IT and business community give up their bed for one night to experience a little of what it might be like to be homeless. The money they raise helps Action for Children tackle the root causes of youth homelessness and gets thousands of children and young people off the streets and into secure accommodation with education and training opportunities.
We think this is a brilliant charity and would really appreciate your support, no matter how small.
Watch out for upcoming events leading up to Byte Night!
