The AMYA runs a number of annual charitable initiatives that seek to support some fantastic national and regional UK charities that are working hard to improve the lives of people going through physical, mental or social challenges. 

Each year the AMYA organises a large charity event, the ‘Charity Challenge’, which invites people from across the UK to walk, run or cycle to raise money for charity. The Charity Challenge was established in the 1980s and has grown from being a modest event which raised hundreds of pounds for charity into a large national event that raises roughly a quarter of a million pounds each year.
