Well We did it ! Two PBs on the way ....
Andy romped home in 3 hours 33 Mins 
and
Hugh, 12 years Andy's senior in 4 hours 21 mins
So in this instance age triumphed over experience !
We are still collecting for Macmillan , so please continue to dig deep and support this wonderful cause..

[Pre Marathon]

Ok folks, foolishly we will be participating in this year’s London Marathon, all 26.2 miles of it.

For Hugh, this will be the culmination of a 29 year dream to hit the pavements of the capital, after watching the first London Marathon on television, way back in 1981. Another boy had a dream that day, our brother Dave, whose shoes Andy has somehow been roped into filling. So Mark (our other brother), it is still not too late if you fancy a go?! So here we are 29 years later, filled with trepidation, of what lies ahead.

Now that the gauntlet has been thrown down, we are honoured to have been accepted to run for the Macmillan Cancer Support Trust. This charity has been improving the lives of people affected by cancer for nearly 100 years.
