We support young with learning disabilities to improve their quality of life

Story

My name is Ellie-may and the day that i'm doing this i will be turning 10. Instead of having a birthday party I am having a tea party in Achmore hall for anyone to come to. We will have a bouncy castle and some fun games.Instead of gifts for my birthday i am asking for a donation towards the Center. I am also going for a pixie haircut and donating my hair to the princess trust. I am raising money for the Elsie Normington foundation, my mum did the same thing during the summer and raised nearly £4000.

I am raising money because I have an 11 year old brother who has autism with complex needs. The Elsie Normington foundation is building a center for children with severe learning disabilities. The Haven center will have respite flats, an indoor specialist play center and outdoor play area, community cafe and meeting spaces. This center will mean a lot to me to know that my brother is in safe hands and then me and my family can go and do an activity together without having to worry. It doesn't matter how much you can donate as every penny counts.

Giving young people with the greatest needs the chances they deserve"ENF plan to build the first integrated centre in Scotland based in Inverness. The centre will have a specialist indoor and outdoor play centre, coffee shop, community garden and respite flats. This centre is desperately needed in the Highlands and we expect to raise the funds to make this dream come true. The building will cost £4 million and we are working with two organisations partners who will deliver the day to day services.
