Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. This page has been set up to raise money for APPLE.

On Saturday 20th March we will be participating in a Sponsored Walk in aid of APPLE from Queen's Hospital, Romford to King Georges Hospital, Goodmayes (KGH) via Romford and Ilford's shopping centres (approximately 8 miles). During the walk we will be distributing flyers to members of the public advertising APPLE's Prostate Cancer Awareness Day from 2pm to 4pm on Sunday 21st March at KGH's Outpatient Dept. PLEASE DO COME ALONG.

APPLE, which was set up in 2000, is founded on three concepts; Information, Education and Support. We are committed to raising public awareness about Prostate Cancer, thus encouraging men to seek advice early as the condition is responsive to treatment if detected soon enough. Our fundraising efforts enables us to purchase state of the art medical equipment for KGH Urology Dept, as well as fund public information events, research projects and to provide training and registration for our support group volunteers.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
