The Great wall Challenge

On the 8th May 2010, Abbie and Karen travelled to China where they took part in a 8 day trekking event along the Great Wall of China! This was huge challenege for the girls both physically and mentally and saw them trekking along extremley rough terrrain for up to 9 hours a day.

The Great North Run
On Sunday 19th September, Karen and Abbie took part in the most iconic half marathon on the planet with 54,000 other runners. It was a fantastic day and the girls finished with respectable times of 2hrs 10mins and 2hrs 24mins.

Are they mad I hear you ask? I think the answer is slightly!!

Every 22 minutes a child is bereaved of a parent, carer or sibling and satistics state that 1 in every 25 children will suffer in this way, thats 1 child in every classroom.
