You will all know that my daughter Ellen, born in 1997 was diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorder in 2001.  She has grown up into a funny and happy girl, who enjoys lots of things including watching DVDs and collecting soft toys!  Like all parents, I want Ellen to remain happy throughout her life.  I therefore chose the Autism Trust as a charity to support because I would love to think that one day Ellen might end up living in the sort of environment that they are seeking to create.
