I am representing Doncaster Rovers Football Club in the 2015 London to Amsterdam Cycle Challenge. As a Football League registered charity, I will be cycling for Prostate Cancer UK, a partnership that is helping men beat Prostate Cancer every day.

This is my first ever fundraising event and cycling to Amsterdam is a huge personal challenge that I can't wait to complete. Prostate Cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK. Over 40,000 men are diagnosed every year, over 250,000 currently live with the disease and over 10,000 men die every year. One in eight will be diagnosed with this disease. 

The training process won't be easy, there'll be a lot of early mornings and late nights but it's a fantastic opportunity to raise money for a great cause. Whilst we may not all be affected by Prostate Cancer we all have dads, brothers or friends who may be affected. We remain helpless in so many cases but here we can make a difference. With your support we can help fight this cruel illness and protect the ones we love.

Friends are invited to join me and be a part of this challenge themselves by joining the Doncaster Rovers team. For those who want to join me in this challenge there is a £149 registration fee with the chance to raise much needed funds.
