My name is Adam and my plan is to run the New York marathon to raise money for Action For Kids.

 

Action for Kids is a small, London-based charity helping disabled children, young people, their parents and carers. They provide mobility aids, work related learning and offer family support services.

To date I have no marathon experience and if I'm honest I've done little to no training so this will be a real challenge. I managed to complete a half marathon last May in 1 hour 46 minutes and my aim is to complete the New York marathon in under 4 hours.

 

So for the next 3 months I will be training as hard as possible and asking that you donate as generously as possible to this worthwhile cause.
