As you may know, my mother passed away back in 2009 after a very long battle against Cancer. She was always a very active person, and since then I've always wanted to do something to give back to her memory, to hopefully make it better for others going through the same things as she went through.

A couple of years ago, through a chance conversation at work, the idea of cycling the length of England and Scotland came up, and it sounded like a good idea at the time!

I am looking to raise money for St Michael's Hospice in North Hampshire, to help them to continue giving the care that people need, and also for Cancer Research UK, so that we can help find a way to stop people being taken from us too early.
