On 16th September 2016 as part of a team I will be attempting to row Lake Winderwere. This is 21 miles, and the equivalent of the English Channel, and a challenge we’re hoping to complete as a team in under 7 hours.

We’re doing this to support a fantastic local charity, Candlelighters, who we have supported for the past three years.  Based in Yorkshire, Candlelighters provides essential practical, emotional and financial support and services to children with cancer and their families.  The charity is formed and run by parents of children who have or have had cancer, ex-patients and the medical staff who treat them.
