Story
I'm challenging myself and raising funds to support The Alzheimer Society of Ireland. All support is hugely appreciated!!
My Goal €2000
This Year I have decided to do something well out of my comfort zone and for my own mental health and wellbeing while raising funds for a Charity that has been a huge support to both Mam and myself. They have given me the tools to help me cope with this horrid disease and help make sure mam is happy and healthy for as long as possible. They have been lifeline I never knew I needed and met some really lovely people who are on the same sad journey.
I have never done anything as big as the Dublin City Marathon so it is a huge challange. I am doing this on top of the VHI Womens Mini Marathon, those are for sure but for the HAT TRICK I would like to also do a skydive. Push myself beyond my fears and limits. Again not just for me but for Mammy. Mam ran the mini marathon a few times whille I was a child and we walked it a few yrs ago together so no better way to honour a wonderful woman than to do something I know she would have loved to do herself.
My brother Emmett has now joined me on this journey and also my neice and nephew. We threw a bake sale in slane and raised an amazing amount. We are also doing the VHI mini marathon together.
We would be very gratful for all your support no matter how big or small your donation or just pushing us to go on. We'll take it all. We are in this together.
I have now decided to take on a sky dive next yr 2024 hopefully with my brother and maybe rope in a few more family members along the way.
Kind Regards
Aisling
