We did it!!! wohoo Akash, Kalpen, Neil and Michael climbed the Tower on Friday. With a great team effort we managed to climb the following:

 

Akash + Kaplen 4 times each = The worlds tallest building each

Neil 3 times                               = The Eiffel Tower x 3

Michael                                      = Climbed once while playing the saxophone at the same time which is harder than climbing repetitively. Thanks for the motivation Mikey!

A devastating earthquake measuring 7.0 on the Richter scale has struck Haiti causing an unfolding humanitarian crisis. Children have been killed and injured — many are in desperate need of clean water, shelter and medical help. Early reports indicate a large number of casualties and widespread damage.

The situation for Haiti was already difficult before the earthquake hit the island. Haiti is the one of the poorest countries in the world and is struggling to recover from years of violence, insecurity and massive natural disasters. More than half of the country's 9.6 million inhabitants are under 21 years of age.

 

Akashs - Till I Collapse Tower Challange (not that you need a reason to donate)

On Friday I will climb Guys Tower as many times as I can in one hour. Each climb is 731 steps. If anyone wishes to join me the more the merrier!

 

1 Climb - 731 Step

2 Climbs - 1462 steps

3 Climbs - 2193 steps     =      1.2 x Eiffel Tower, 1.2 x Empire state building

4 Climbs - 3655 steps     =       1 x the tallest building in the world!!!! (Burj Khalifa), 1.8x Eiffel Tower/Empire state 

5 Climbs (yeah right!) - 4386
