Hi All

     Some call it a midlife crisis, some call it madness I call it doing my little bit for Cancer research!

As most of you will know my Mum had cancer a few years back and without the wonderful work Cancer research do, she might not be here today!

I and a group of friends will be climbing Kilimanjaro in September 2010.

I have never done anything like this before and at 5895M its going to be a high climb with temperatures from +30 to -20 Celsius and altitude sickness thrown in!

As with all of my charity events I will be completely funding the event myself as I want all donations to go directly to the charity they are for and NOT to pay for me to have a jaunt!

There will be a few practice walks from May-July in the UK if anyone wants to attend ( just email me for the details... ) and I will post some photos of these and of the trek itself for anyone interested.
