Story
Update 28 April Many thanks for all the donations and wonderful messages of support, I completed the race in 4 Hours 10 minutes. It was a fantastic day and I can honestly say I did enjoy it, especially crossing the line. You can find out my official time and splits by logging onto the marathon website and keying in my surname, my race number was 13821 http://results-2010.virginlondonmarathon.com/2010/
Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page.
I last completed a marathon in 1988 so I thought it was about time I completed another. So on 25th April 2010 I will be running in the London Marathon in aid of our local Jospice.
The training is going well but the nearer the race comes the further 26 miles seems. I do have a target time of 4 hours but my main aim is to enjoy it (if I can) and raise money for a wonderful local charity.
