Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. On 23rd May 2010 I will be attempting to run the Edinburgh Marathon (Yes I know I must be mad). I am running to raise money for Anthony Nolan Trust as last year I was asked to donate bone marrow having been on their register for 15 years. Seeing their lifesaving work at first hand has made me want to try to raise enough money to contribute to the costs of my donation.
Anthony Nolan takes back lives from leukaemia by providing life saving bone marrow donors to thousands of men, women and children who would otherwise not survive. They also conduct pioneering research into the treatment of bone marrow disorders and improving the effectiveness of bone marrow transplants.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So please dig deep and donate now.
