Story

At the core of the Bromley by Bow Centre’s thinking is the belief in people and their capacity to achieve amazing things, and I can't argue with that. I am going to do a 10k run on the 11th of July to fundraise for the Centre and would be grateful if you could open up your wallets and donate. I plan to raise 100 pounds which Rothschild promised to match, so for every pound you give the Centre gets two pounds! Your donations will help the Centre work in one of the most deprived wards in the UK, each week supporting c. 2,000 people. The Centre's activities are divided into 4 main areas:

1) Supporting people to overcome chronic illness and unhealthy lifestyles

2) Enabling people to learn new skills

3) Supporting people to become less grant dependent and to find work

4) Providing the tools to create an enterprising community

They help people to break out of poverty by supporting people to; look after their health and wellbeing, gain vital new skills, find employment and make positive changes in their lives.
