Story
Hi
Thanks for visiting my page. If you have the misfortune of knowing me then chances are that I have directed you to this page to donate. I am running the 2010 London Marathon for an excellent cause and my chosen charity makes a very real and positive difference to the world.
Please visit their site at www.mssociety.org.uk and have a look at some of the things which they dedicate their time to doing.
This may sound like a generic plea for your hard earned funds, but if you know me well enough to have been directed to my site, then you already know this is truly a herculean task and there is a very good reason I'm running for the MS Society.
I am getting up before work to hop on a treadmill for training, giving up alcohol and Dominoes Pizza's (except my birthday on the 23rd Jan) and putting distance running at weekends before Golf. The last one is the most difficult to believe, but it is sadly true. I would only give up these vital life functions for something really worthy, and I ask you to consider the cause, investment of time and my truly useless nature when calculating your donation.
Example
I know the marathon is hard - £5
I know that the charity is great - £5
I know that Alex is at best lazy, more-often-than-not useless and sleeps more than a narcoleptic Koala - £10.
Therefore, your sum should total £20.
Once again, thanks for your support and if you wish to come and see the event to check your money has been well spent I would be delighted to see you.
Thanks
Alex
