Hello!

On Saturday 7th August 2010 I will take my friends by the hands and plunge into the murky depths of the Serpentine in Hyde Park and proceed to navigate through the duck debris for five furlongs before dragging myself trimphant onto the grassy bank.  This chilly, dirty, bizarre escapade is all in aid of Mind -the Mental Health charity.

We believe that those suffering from mental distress are amongst the neediest in the country.  There is too little investment in mental health services and into the complex drugs needed to treat the mental illnesses and this must change.  I could rattle on but please follow this link and view a short video which describes the work done by Mind so much better than I can:-
