Story

Nic and Tom’s Great Adventure Race!

On Saturday 4th May 2024 Nic and his brother, Tom will be taking part in a 55km race up in Scotland, starting with a 4km canoe, followed by a 16km run up a 1000m mountain and finally a 35km cycle!

Have they trained…. Who knows? Will they do it…. Of course they will!

As usual, Nic is a force to be reckoned with as he takes on this huge challenge to raise funds for Friends of Serenity in memory of Alice. If you can, please donate to keep him and Tom motivated during this mammoth challenge and raise vital funds for this amazing charity.

Thank you Nic and Tom and good luck!

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. We continue to raise money, look out for the next challenge to get involved in. Thank you

About the charity

Friends of Serenity

RCN 1157866
Friends of Serenity aims to preserve and protect the health of sick pregnant women and those who have suffered a miscarriage, stillbirth or neonatal death in particular but not exclusively by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities, Serenity Suites and equipment at East Lancashire Women and New Born Centre not normally provided by the statutory authorities. We work hard to support newly bereaved parents through the provision of memory boxes and miscarriage keepsakes. By dressing their babies we hope to make distressing and devastating time a little more comforting by taking the pressure off them. These are provided in East Lancashire and throughout the country on public requirement. Additionally, we strive to provide qualified information by any means appropriate on the 2nd most common chromosome disorder Trisomy 13.
