Story

For those who know me, walking is something I seldom do unless I have to. In this case I will be walking up (apparently it's called hiking), three rather high mountains in the UK. To be honest I wouldn't do this even if I got paid.

The reason I'm doing this however, is because I know a boy, who is no longer a boy, called Nicky. I met him when he was 8, he is now 16. The thing about Nicky is that he suffers from a disease called Crohn's. This means that both he and his family go through tremendous difficulties on a daily basis with physical pain, a disrupted life and plenty of hospital visits. Knowing how hard working and incredible his family is and have to be, has made me want to help as much as I can. This is the least I can do.

CiCRA is an organisation that helps Nicky and other young people like him, primarily through their research. It allows people who suffer from Crohn's to cope and try to lead a life that is so far from what we would consider normal. The research will hopefully also provide a cure in the near future, however this is not possible without financial support.

Everything/Anything you can give is so appreciated, thank you so much!
