Raising awareness of bowel cancer is very important to me. My father died of bowel cancer in his 50's and may well have had a better chance if he had been made aware of the symptoms and encouraged to seek help. I now work in this field and talk to people about the journey they have undertaken.  I Just want to help increase the profile of bowel cancer symptoms and at the same time raise money for Lynn's bowel cancer campaign. When you sponsor me you will be assisting in the way people get diagnosed and treated for bowel cancer, how fab!!

On a lighter note you may also have the chance to see me collapse and make even more of a fool of myself whilst trying to run twenty six and a half (don't forget the half!) miles! During this period of time I may even give up (cut down, reduce, maybe, maybe not) my white wine!
