As most of you know, I lost my beautiful mum Linda Norton to pancreatic cancer in June. She was only 58 years old. She fought courageously and with dignity to the end. I think of her and miss her everyday, she will be forever in our hearts.
My cousin Sarah and I have decided to run the Reading Half Marathon in my mums memory, to raise as much money as possible for Pancreatic Cancer UK. The survival rate for Pancreatic cancer is just 3% and only receives 1% of cancer research funding. Just think maybe we can help to give someone else a chance against this cruel disease. So please donate however little or as much as you can spare!
Can I just add that Sarah and I are not runners and have both fairly recently had babies (Sarah twins!!!!!!). No more excuses we'll just get on with it.
We did it! 13.1 gruelling miles - mum was with us every step of the way. Thank you all so much for your donations and kind words - we couldnt have done it without your support. xx

The Reading Half Marathon will take place on Sunday the 21st of March
