Well here I go again!! I'm training for my 3rd Marathon!!  This time I'm doing it without any coach/trainer...it's all my own motivation, so help me god!  And my aim is to run it in under 5hours...so I have an added goal!

Please help me fundraise for the NSPCC, a deserving charity.  If you cannot donate, well wishes are also welcomed.

I'll try and put a blog on here of my training progress...so keep an eye on this page and also see how far I have to achieve my fundraising goal. XX

25.01.10: Am sooo pleased, I managed to run 11.5miles in 2hours and 5mins without walking!!!! This is a first for me - as I'm usually a run walker!  Hope to manage 1/2 marathon next weekend!

30.01.10:  Ok so I didnt manage 1/2 today but I did do 12miles in 2hours without walking!!  That is probably my best time ever for such a distant!  Happy very happy with that!

28.02.10:  Well it's been a few weeks of no running due to plantar fascia strain....but started again earlier this week with a couple of short runs (5k & 8k)....and today I managed 14 miles.....whooooohooo!!!

14.03.10:  I ran 17 miles today....boy was it hard work....really struggled the last 4 miles!

21.03.10: I'm in agony!!!! Ran 18 miles today and my legs feel like they are going to drop off!!! 5 weeks to go...really panicking now!

18.04.10: Well not been running much since the 18miler....back problems!!  But managed a leisurely 8 miles today - probably do a short 3 mile run this week and then load up of carbs ready for next Sunday!  I know I'll do it but I'm dubious that'll I'll do it under 5hours.  Just hope it's not a hot day like today - not good for running, great for the spectators though!

22.04.10:  I havent run since last Sunday but that's ok, I need to rest my back anyway in prep for this Sunday.  Getting nervous and excited now....I'll let you know how I got on.

25.04.10:  It's over!!!! 5:02:19....well missed out on my goal by a couple of mins but I still achieved a personal best...so all good!  Thank you so much for all your support and donations.  Love you all X
