Fundraising for LUPUS UK
Story
Unbelievably, me and my knocked knees have signed up to do the Swindon Half Marathon in September!
As anyone who knows me will agree, I'm not a natural runner, I won't even run for the bus! However, I've chucked on my new pink trainers and I'm training hard to complete my biggest challenge yet - 13.1miles!
I've chosen to run and fundraise for Lupus UK, a charity that means a lot to my family having lost multiple family members to the condition. We currently have family members still living every day with the condition and I hope that every penny will help fund research to find a cure or a better treatment for the condition.
I know people are always strapped for cash (like me!) but I'd really appreciate any donations even if it's just a pound! Every penny means a lot to a charity that doesn't get a lot of focus or attention.
For now I'll keep training and working on crossing that finish line in September!
