Story
Whilst I have no plans to be sporting an Elvis suit on Sunday 25th April, I would love to raise £2,000 for Children with metabolic diseases - and a tenner from you would be greatly appreciated.
Metabolic diseases are life threatening inheritable genetic disorders in which errors of metabolism occur, involving a block where a catalyst or enzyme is absent or malfunctioning. These defects cause an overdose of one or more often toxic chemicals, and the shortage of others that are essential to normal body functioning. The consequences of such chemicals are often fatal, leading to either a slow deterioration with progressive physical and mental issues, or to rapid decline and death.
Climb is committed to fighting metabolic diseases through research, awareness and support.
Anything you can offer, even a few pounds, will be greatly appreciated by families for whom the future is frightening and uncertain.
Thank you for your support and see you at the finish line!
