We are two of 3 'Scilly Kili Ladies' who have decided to take up the challenge to climb to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro in September 2013 in order to raise as much as we can for the Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust. The Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust provides a vital lifeline service to residents of the Isles of Scilly, as well as Cornwall, yet not many people realise that the Trust is a charity and relies upon donations and fundraising to keep the service alive. The Air Ambulance is called to Scilly around 100 times a year, and everyone here knows at least one person it has helped, or someone who's life it has saved, including Ginny's husband! Please help us to reach our target of £8000.00 so we can do our bit to keep the Air Ambulance flying - who knows who will need it one day? (NB - a percentage of the money raised will go towards the cost of the trek).
