We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

At 26 I was diagnosed with malignant melanoma (skin cancer) now the 5th most common cancer in the UK and more than 2,000 people die every year in the UK from melanoma. Every day I am forever thankful that currently I have beaten this awful disease and I am so blessed to now have 3 beautiful children with Keith Anderson who has recently opened his own salon Anderson's Hair.

The team of girls from Anderson's Hair salon, (Kerri-Adele Connon, Eirinn Flemming, Eve Clark, Kirsty Smith) Glasgow and myself are doing this Race not just for the people we have lost, but for the people who need the help, the people who cant run this race. A lot of people are lost through cancer each year and just by you sponsoring us can help the treatment and help them have a better life. It will help the families and the friends of the people who are suffering.

we are joining Cancer Research UK's Race for Life this year. Please join the fight by digging deep and sponsoring me - it's quick, easy and totally secure.

Events like this are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring us, we can unite and create an army that cancer can't ignore. By sponsoring us, we will beat cancer sooner.

Don't forget to add Gift Aid

If you're a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box as this will increase your donation by at least 25% at no extra cost to you.

Sponsor me now, and help me show cancer that hell hath no fury like a woman in pink.
