In December this year, I will be climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro via the Rongai route to raise money for the charity WellChild.

At 5,895m, Mt. Kilimanjaro is the worlds highest free-standing mountain and one of the largest volcanoes ever to break through the Earth's crust.

Mt Kilimanjaro can be seen 200km away from Nairobi and is Africa's highest mountain

17% of physically fit climbers fall victim to its Acute Mountain Sickness...Yikes!
