Story

The Club Triumph Round Britain Reliability Run was first
devised in 1966 and since then has run 24 times, the idea being to drive
Triumph cars around the UK visiting Control Stops, 2000 miles in 48 hours.

The 2016 RBRR is to be run between Friday 7th October and
Sunday 9th October 2016, starts in London and goes up to John O'Groats, down to Lands’ End and to the finish at Knebworth House in Hertfordshire. At the time of writing there are 148 cars entered. The total mileage to be covered is approximately 2000.

This is quite challenging bearing in mind that these cars
are between 35 and 80 years old.

The event will visit many Control Stops, these numbering 17
plus the start at the Knebworth House, Hertfordshire and  finishing at the same place.

The car that I am using is a 1973 Triumph Toledo which has
completed the event twice and has proved totally reliable .My crew are my
friends Steve and Nick. Both lads have completed the trip before and have thoroughly
enjoyed it.

This year we are supporting Guide Dogs and hope to raise a substantial
sum to support this good cause.

The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.
