We provide support and information to those affected by endometriosis

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Our 15 year old daughter has been diagnosed with endometriosis, which has prevented her attending school since January 2009 and suffering daily pain, nausea and fatigue.  Whilst we appreciate that this is not life threatening, in her case it has been life changing.  In her own words "I have no life at the moment".

We had never heard of this disease until March 2009 when she was diagnosed.  I have decided to walk from St Bee's on the West Coast of England to Robin Hood Bay on the East Coast, 190 miles approx., during a fortnight, with a friend, to raise awareness of endometriosis and hopefully to raise money as well for the Endometriosis UK.

Please support me in turning my daughter's negative experience into a positive for this charity.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. So please dig deep and donate now.

Over 1.5 million in the UK have endometriosis and the impact of the disease is for some devastating, yet diagnosis takes on average 8 years. With your donations we are turning this around, raising awareness, providing support and information, supporting research, and campaigning for change.
