This is my third year taking on the Saigon Children's Charity Cycling challenge.  It is a great cause to support, helping the disadvantaged kids of Vietnam to get an education, leading to a better future.  

I thought last year was big.  This year we have 300 Km's to ride in 3 days through the highlands in Buon Me Thuot (central Vietnam).  Last year they gave us 1 mountain to climb (The Hai Van pass) ... this year it is 3 days through the mountains.  What a great challenge...

Over the past 5 years the SCC riders have raised over US$200,000 for the underprivileged kids in Vietnam.  With this money the charity has built schools and provided support and sponsorship to hundreds of kids.  It is a huge effort, but it is still a drop in the ocean...

So three years into riding in Vietnam...                                                        My backside is used to the bike saddle - thank god.                                    I can ride the distance - on the flat,  So now...                                          I just need to conquer the mountains of Vietnam.
