Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Hello, and thank you for visiting my page. I will once again be taking part in the UK Forums All-Stars weekend, where we will be raising funds for some fantastic charities. This year, I will be representing the Help for Heros All-Star team, and it's one where i'm proud to represent.

In 1990 a scrawny little scroat (me, then, not now) joined the Army and trained to be an Irish Guardsman.  I had 6 fantastic years serving this fantastic Regiment, meeting some life long friends, many you will see on my profile.  The Irish Guards are a family orientated regiment and today when I visit the regiment for St Patricks Day or Association Dinners I am still welcomed with open arms (I don't know why!)

The Irish Guards have just returned from Afghanistan where they lost a brother.  When this happens, everyone inside and outside of the Regiment feels the pain.  So for my family members - past, present and future, I want to do my bit for them.

Please take time to sponsor me.  If all of my friends on Facebook sponsor me £1 then I will achieve my target.  These MEN in the Irish Guards and Regiments like them, give their lives so that we are able to live freely.  Surely it isn't too much to ask for £1.

Thank you for taking the time to read my page and sponsor me.

Regards

Andy
