Departing on the 30th August 2022 – I will join a team of 18 volunteer drivers in a convoy of 9 trucks with 120 tons of aid across Europe to Ukraine.

Our aid is 50/50 food and medical and will mostly be made up of the following:

Food – tinned food, pasta, rice, flour, baby formula
Medical and first aid items, defibrillators
Wheelchairs, crutches, body braces
Hygiene products, nappies, wipes
Folding beds, mattresses, bedding

We take our aid all the way to Ukraine where we hand it over to our local charity partners that distribute it throughout the country – for example a lot of the food will be destined for the east where food supplies are scarce.

It’s a 3,000 mile round trip and as you can imagine the fuel bill alone will add up – this can sometimes be in the region of £15k to £18k alone so any financial donations to the charity will help the wheels keep rolling and mean we can keep returning – this will be the second convoy of 8 trucks in 4 weeks
