Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my page. I've now completed the event and the results are available on the Jersey Tri club Website (http://www.jerseytriclub.com/24.html). A huge thank you to everyone who sponsored me, it's really appreciated and if you didn't you can still do so on this page!

Also have a look at:

You can find more information on ACET here - http://www.acet.je/ and if you have time please take part in the HIV quiz which you'll find on the site.

The challenge of doing an olympic distance tri was born at the end of 2008 when Mark James made an off the cuff remark after a couple of lunchtime gym sessions. Mark went on with an excellent effort to complete the event last year but frustratingly I was forced to watch from the shore after going under the knife again with a gammy knee.

Fortunately the knee is holding up this year and I've been training hard and taking part in events on the tri club calendar (in fact I've done all of them so far!) so please dig deep and support this worthy cause. For those who fancy a challenge you could always consider joining me for what would otherwise be a relaxing bank holiday weekend!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks for your support,

Andy
