Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This page is in place to raise money for IPOP, a Barnet-based charity which supports disabled children and young people in accessing mainstream play activities around the borough, as well as supporting their families. As it is IPOP's 15th year of providing this service, we are marking the celebration with a fundraising event in the form of a sponsored skydive!

We are looking for 15+ people to donate their time and nerves to take part in this once in a lifetime event. Taking place at Chatteris Airfield, March, Cambridgeshire in April 2010, the jump will be in tandem form from an altitude of 12,000-14,000 feet, which allows for up to 40 seconds of freefall!!

If you are interested in taking part please contact me for a Jump Pack at the IPOP office on 020 8441 0404 or via email to andrew@ipop.org.uk. The best thing about it all is that if you raise over £300.00 of sponsorship money, we will give you the cost of your jump back, so you jump for free!! For more information please contact me.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Our mission is to provide opportunities for children of all abilities to play and socialise together, to offer support and information to families of disabled children, and to raise awareness of the benefits of inclusive provision both in play settings and more widely. We respect the right of every child to safe and stimulating play with appropriate support in a setting of their own and their family's choice. We offer services that are responsive to needs and acknowledge the vital role of families as partners in our work. We believe that healthy communities include everyone and that all children benefit from playing together in an environment that offers the same opportunities to everyone.
