Woodcraft Folk is the Co-operative children and young people's movement. We run hundreds of grassroots education groups across the UK where young people of all ages meet to play games, make friends and learn about big ideas from climate change to social justice through co-operative activities.

Story

What are we doing? Oliver and I will be cycling with other members of the Woodcraft Folk from the Irish Sea to the North Sea. We will set off from Workington on the 10th of April and aim to be in Tynemouth, after covering 225km on the 14th.

Why are we doing it? We are raising money to rebuild the Woodcraft Folk's shed at Debden. The shed holds the equipment that, over the years, has allowed scores of children from the East End to go camping and escape from being sent up chimneys.

What do we want? Your money.

Is that all we want? Yes.

But? Oh. Alright. We want your money and moral support and soft cushions to sit on when we get home. Thanks for any donations - Oliver and Andrew.

Now some stuff that was already written when we got here

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
